Peoria, AZ If I could give Max and Terry 10 Stars, I would. I spent several months researching the engineered wood floors I wanted. I went to several local flooring stores to get pricing and searched online. My online search led me to Cheaperfloors.com, (aka Portofino Design Center) in San Leandro. Was a bit leary of buying online because it was a large purchase. I had a trip to the Oakland area coming up in a few weeks, so I made a stop and met Max personally. Words can't explain how great he was. He sent me home with large enough samples so that I could really see what I was getting. We ended up with a slightly different color which was not on special, but his pricing still beat my local guys by almost $3/sq ft, which saved me around $8000! We weren't ready to take delivery, so 2 months later I call him to have it shipped and he will get it to me in the next 5 days. 2 months later he remembered exactly which product I bought without having to look anything up- it just doesn't get any better- they will get future business from us for sure- Thanks much Max and Terry! Emeryville, CA This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing goods from my home. Max helped me out greatly after I was calling around to find matching flooring from a earlier remodel. I searched high and low internet and brick-and-mortar stores to find a matching wood to no avail. I was actually hung up on by the people at the Lumber Liquidators. Max swooped in and Saved the Day! He was able to find the matching flooring and gave me the sweetest deal possible beating the online price by $0.10 per square foot. I could not believe the great deal he gave me or the excellent customer service. From here on out everything flooring I purchase will come from Max. Max actually saved me a second time when my contractor installed some flooring incorrectly he was able to give me a rush order to help me get my job completed before my son's first birthday party! At that point, I had two quotes from a local Porcelanosa showroom in Chicago and another company in CA, but the prices were more than I wanted to pay. I went to their website, cheaperfloors.com, and thought I went to a wrong website, as their website didn't look like something from a tile company. But I called the company anyway, and found out quickly that it was not only a legitimate store, but also the person I talked to, Max, was very knowledgeable and service-oriented. He was willing to ship 160 sq ft worth of large tiles to Chicago. He immediately quoted me a great price and said he'd look into the shipping options to Chicago. The next day, I got the shipping information Max promised to find out. I made a payment with my credit card and I received a receipt by email. It was one of the easiest transactions I experienced on the phone. I received the product in the following week. I haven't installed the tiles yet, but all tiles seem to be intact.
